Who We Are
Lorica Health’s mission is to power better healthcare
Lorica Health was established in 2011 as CMC Insurance Solutions, a commercial venture arising out of research conducted by the Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre (CMCRC) – a $100 million Government-funded research and development centre founded in 2001.
Lorica Health is multifaceted, offering both global SaaS products and tailored strategic services through our Consulting and Payment Integrity Practice business units.
Lorica Health has proven experience working across both the public and private sectors to implement advanced, policy-aligned analytics software and policy advice. The use of sophisticated data analytics identifies fraud, abuse, waste and errors, and is expanding to detect and discourage low-quality and low-value care delivery. This ultimately improves the efficiency and fairness of healthcare systems, leading to better health outcomes for all.
Lorica Health is an important industry partner for the recently announced Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre (DHCRC), a seven-year, $200 million R&D institution with the aim of revolutionising the way in which healthcare is provided in both Australia and the world. Lorica Health was acquired by Cotiviti, Inc in August 2021.
