David Jonas is a consultant, non-executive director and writer.
David was the founding CEO of the Digital Health CRC, a $200m+, 7 year collaborative R&D initiative involving 16 universities and 60+ national and international health and technology organisations. David led the multi-year bid to recruit partners and win federal funding, and established the organisation.
David was the founding leader of the Health Market Quality R&D program of the Capital Markets CRC and was the founding CEO of Lorica Health.
David is a non-executive director of Infoxchange, a social enterprise that delivers technology solutions and services to the NGO sector, large government departments and their clients.
David founded and built Australia’s first e-commerce and e-government consulting company; the company was acquired by ASX-listed Securenet (now part of Verizon) in 2000. His background includes senior executive positions in finance and technology including 7 years as the CTO of a multi-national group of companies.
He has served on the European Union’s Global Business Dialogue on the Information Economy, the Australia-Singapore Joint IT Council, the Australian Government’s National Authentication Expert Group and IT Security Expert Advisory Group, and the National Electronic Health Transition Authority’s Privacy Roundtable.
